Welcome to the Candy Crew! This club is devoted to art, love, and everything happy!

This club is founded for collaborations and projects to add colour and life to deviantart! (which is grey for some reason) Joint projects will take place where members will work on different aspects of the final piece and submit it into the club for the series.

The reason the club is exclusive is because the members know each other very well and have established friendships. This is key for collaborations and projects.

How to Join:
Sorry... this club is invitation-only. But you're free to watch the club and see the events and notices!

Members can request to add friends to the club and must submit a note stating why they think that their friend would be a valuable asset to the candy crew.

Rules:
1. Be friendly towards other members and fans
2. Encourage and support each other
3. Absolutely NO flaming!
4. Do not fav works entered into the club, follow the link to the original work.
5. Nothing submitted should have mature content if possible.
6. All favs should be directed towards the ORIGINAL
7. Favs., submissions, and watches are encouraged.

News

As of now the DA CandyCrew has been assembled. We assume you are happy with the arrangements. After a few projects we will be looking for a fifth and final member for awhile.

The projects we need as an I.D. This is in NO MEANS a competition! The club needs an I.D. that is -of course- drawn by the members.

What we need: A vertical portrait of each member's frequently used OC or anime form with relation to the candy the represent.

Ideas: Change the original clothing if need be so that the candy is printed on the clothing itself. Draw the candy as a plushie or on an object. Have the character sit on a mountain of that type of candy.

Technical stuff: The character should be centered on the page (so that no part is cropped/running off the page) and the background should be left completely blank. The size required is 4x5 inches or 1200x1500 pixels... or any variation of that scale so that they can be pieced together to form the whole picture. The character, of course, must be standing/sitting/floating or any other form of vertical position. Also, the title "<name>: "The <candy> of the DA CandyCrew" should be inserted right below the character. We suggest using a program to apply the text in a white space below the character so that it can be cropped/modified if need be... please use a text that corresponds with the character in a colorful font style.

The deadline is September the 30th, if there is an issue with the time, please tell us. If it is possible, try to finish before the deadline.

Object of Discussion

When the I.D. is finished, the club needs to complete a project together to celebrate the launch of the club!

It's up to the four of you to come up with something to put together. Feel free to put up suggestions in this journal!

Some Ideas:
12 Members of the Chinese Zodiac in a furry/human form(3 animals each)
12 Members of the Star Signs in a furry/human form (3 signs each)
12 months of the year (three months each)
Four Seasons
Four Elements
Four times of day (Sunrise, Mid-day, Sunset, Midnight)

They don't have to be these... they are only suggestions.
